About me

I began my career as a chartered physiotherapist in the National Health Service in the UK with a special interest in pain. After moving to South Africa, I completed a PhD in Physiology, a post-doctoral fellowship and went on to become an academic in the School of Physiology at the University of the Witwatersrand. 

I have long had an interest in personal growth and my desire to alleviate suffering and improve quality of life expanded from a physiological, academic perspective to a more human development perspective when I discovered coaching and how it can facilitate powerful, personal transformation. I am currently an Associate Professor with a novel role comprising coaching and academic development.
